A large IDC data center park in Langfang, Hebei, has recently commenced full operations. Built to provide dedicated intelligent computing support for a leading Chinese internet company, the facility features YMK NexAir Fluorine-Pump Fan Wall systems across its three core data halls. The project achieved the delivery and deployment of over 360 units within 60 days, achieving a stable PUE of less than 1.2. It stands as a benchmark case for the green cooling upgrade of high-density, large-scale intelligent computing centers in Northern China.

Confronted with the pressing challenge of continuously rising IT load density and the inability of traditional room-level air conditioning to handle intense heat flux, the client, after multiple rounds of technical reviews and site visits, ultimately selected YMK NexAir Fluorine-Pump Fan Wall System as the unified cooling solution for the entire campus.
The project involved the one-time deployment of over 360 Fan Wall units and more than 60 humidifiers, covering all high-density server rooms to establish an efficient, reliable, and intelligent new-generation cooling architecture. With its three core advantages — "intelligent fluorine-based cooling, innovative Fan Wall design, and system-wide reliability" — the NexAir system fundamentally redefines the traditional logic of data center cooling.

The system is equipped with fully variable-frequency dual-drive technology, integrating a DC inverter compressor and a high-efficiency variable-frequency fluorine pump. Coupled with AI-enabled intelligent control, it achieves automatic switching between three operational modes: compressor refrigeration, fluorine pump natural cooling, and a hybrid mode. During the extended cold seasons typical of Northern China, the system can completely shut down the compressor and rely solely on the fluorine pump for circulation cooling, significantly reducing energy consumption.

The system overcomes the limitations of traditional point-to-point airflow delivery by embedding cooling coils and EC fans into the wall structure, creating a continuous "fan wall" that enables matrix-style, horizontal, and uniform air supply. Cold air is evenly delivered from the front to server racks over a distance exceeding 15 meters, effectively eliminating local hotspots and significantly improving cooling efficiency. This design is ideally suited for high-density deployment scenarios.

The system employs a fully fluorinated, water-free design, eliminating the risk of coolant leakage and ensuring the security of core operations. Its distributed architecture supports phased "build-as-you-grow" deployment, where a single unit failure does not impact overall system operation. The modular design facilitates flexible future expansion, seamlessly keeping pace with the rapid growth of intelligent computing services.
Facing the client's demanding 100-day deadline for operational launch, YMK leveraged its capabilities in factory pre-fabrication and pre-assembly of complete units. This approach enabled rapid equipment shipment and on-site "plug-and-play" deployment. From dispatch to full campus-wide deployment and commissioning, all 360+ units were automated and operational within just 60 days, ensuring the timely availability of the client's computing resources.

The data hall cooling system now operates fully with intelligent control. Through a centralized monitoring platform, operational staff can track equipment status in real time, performing fault prediction, remote adjustment, and energy efficiency analysis - significantly improving operational efficiency. The establishment of this green cooling infrastructure not only reduces operating costs but also supports the client in advancing its ESG commitments, providing a solid foundation for future AI computing capacity expansion.

From the expedited 60-day HVAC deployment in a hyperscale data center to the stable operation of 360 Fan Wall units achieving PUE <1.2, this project fully demonstrates the mature application and scalable replication capability of YMK NexAir Fluorine-Pump Fan Wall in large intelligent computing centers. It sets a new benchmark for data center construction characterized by "high density, high efficiency, and high reliability."
Positioned as an "Energy-Saving Vanguard," YMK NexAir Fluorine-Pump Fan Wall provides an efficient, stable, and intelligent cooling foundation for high-density AI compute facilities. Its impact extends beyond cooling—delivering sustainable, powerful momentum for a greener future in the age of AI.
