On November 18th, the "2025 Green and Efficient Data Center Cooling Technology Development and Application Forum," hosted by the China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association (CRAA), was grandly held in Sanya. YMK Technology Group, as a standing council member of the CRAA, was invited to attend this prestigious event. The company's Vice President of Product Marketing delivered a keynote speech titled "From General Computing to Intelligent Computing—The Development Trend of Data Center Cooling Technology," providing an in-depth analysis of the evolutionary direction and practical application of data center cooling technology against the backdrop of the explosive growth in AI computing power.
With the rapid development of technologies like AI large models and world models, the demand for intelligent computing is growing exponentially. Data centers are currently undergoing a profound transformation from "general computing" to "intelligent computing." The power consumption of a single high-performance AI chip has already surpassed 1400W, and the power density of a full server rack is heading towards 300kW and even higher. Consequently, traditional air-cooling systems are facing severe challenges in terms of cooling efficiency, energy consumption control, and reliability.
Against this backdrop, liquid cooling technology, especially cold-plate liquid cooling, is rapidly becoming the mainstream choice for intelligent computing centers due to its advantages, such as high energy efficiency, high density, and low PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness). YMK believes that future data center cooling systems must achieve breakthroughs in four key dimensions: reliability, energy efficiency, flexibility, and synergy. To address the operational risks of GPU clusters, which have a "large blast radius and lack end-point backup," cooling solutions must be deeply integrated with the IT architecture to build a new type of refrigeration system featuring "co-sourced air and liquid cooling, near-end cold delivery, and distributed deployment."
Currently, YMK has taken the lead in China by implementing a large-scale intelligent computing center project with a "co-sourced air and liquid cooling" architecture. The project has a total IT power load of 80MW and deploys over 3,500 racks, of which nearly 60% are liquid-cooled. Through the synergy of dynamic dual-source cooling fan walls, CDU (Coolant Distribution Unit) liquid cooling units, and an intelligent dynamic environmental monitoring system, the project achieves an outstanding energy efficiency performance with a PUE of less than 1.19.

In addition, YMK has also made successive innovative achievements in areas such as composite multi-link heat pipe natural cooling and fluorine pump energy-saving technologies. The company's self-developed in-row heat pipe air conditioners and multi-link heat pipe units, combined with variable frequency control and intelligent energy efficiency management, can flexibly switch operating modes under different climatic conditions, significantly reducing annual energy consumption. Simultaneously, the company is actively promoting prefabricated and modular delivery models to enhance construction efficiency and support the rapid launch of its clients' businesses.
At this forum, the YMK NexAir fluorine pump cooling wall system, with its successful application in large-scale data centers, was selected for the forum's case study collection. This was due to its features, including the efficient use of natural cooling, reorganized airflow management, and a distributed water-free architecture, reflecting the industry's high recognition of the company's advanced and mature technology.

Cooling technology in the age of intelligent computing is not merely a matter of heat dissipation, but a systematic engineering challenge involving energy efficiency, reliability, and sustainable development. At this forum, YMK forward-looking insights and robust implementation capabilities received high praise from the attendees, highlighting the company's leading role in green data center cooling technology. As we enter a new era of AI-driven computing power, YMK will continue to deepen its innovation in high-efficiency cooling technologies, supporting the data center industry in advancing toward a greener, smarter, and more reliable future
